Installation: These are billet aluminum heavy-weight shifters, which utilize an OEM style base mount. Sliding right on, it eliminates the need for threaded adapters or lock bolts.
Each shift knob is wired with a power (red+) and ground (black-) which is used for the LED function. These have a quick connect function for ease of installation and removal. First disconnect the battery when working on electrical components. Our recommendation is to utilize the 75x nut located underneath the lower dash kick panel. Here, you have access to the Ignition On power for constant LED when the vehicle is On. Please refer to the final product photo for the diagram.
For those who may not want constant LED lighting in the shift knob, a more in-depth install can be done utilizing power and ground from either the Headlight Switch or Dimmer Switch.
