Volkswagen Tiguan (2018–2021) Clear Lens Tail Lights – Black Housing

These tail lights are designed specifically for the 2018–2024 U.S.-spec Volkswagen Tiguan. They feature a black internal housing with a clear outer lens for a clean, OEM-inspired appearance. Being EU base sets, they do not utilize inner brake lights and they are outer brake only.

With a transparent lens, injection moulding points are more easily seen. Please note that these markings are not defects and are consistent across all tail lights, an unavoidable byproduct of production.

Some models may experience a bulb-out error on the dash. This is due to a difference in lighting options on sub-models and is a BCM resistance fault. Coding is needed to remove it fully, but the fault does not affect any of the light functions on the vehicle.

Each set will come with new foam seals for each light. We always recommend sticking with the OEM seals unless they are deteriorating or damaged upon removal. It is important to remove the backing paper if using the new foam seals and adhere them evenly to the tail light itself. Damages due to improper installation will not be covered.
